Easy-to-access, reliable forecasts

NEXT: The forecasting tool provides highly reliable electricity production estimates from 5 minutes to several days in advance by combining meteorological models, satellite data, and information about the plant configuration.

Sunlight forecasts (horizontal and tilted irradiance) and production forecasts in kWh are directly usable by all solar professionals. They facilitate the management of profitability for a single photovoltaic plant or a portfolio of plants. This enables the optimization of the financial and operational exploitation of photovoltaic energy and its storage, within a mix that incorporates a growing share of renewable energy.

Next Advanced

Very accurate for each time horizons

NEXT Advanced: Meteorological models and satellite images are excellent sources of information for solar forecasting. However, their temporal and spatial resolutions are insufficient to detect short-term cloud behavior at the site level.

The measurements from various on-site monitoring sensors provide valuable insights into the instantaneous state of the system with much greater accuracy. NEXT Advanced is capable of incorporating these measurements to continuously adjust forecasts to real-time measurements in cases where other data sources may have inaccurately anticipated short-term variability.

Uses an explainable statistical model to understand and optimize performance levels achieved for any configuration.

Multi-factors

Production information incorporating multiple factors: technologies used, orientation, tracking system, site data collected by a real-time supervision system (SCADA) (temperature, overall plant operation, etc.).

Scalable

Up to 4 types of multi-scale data processed, including customized on-site information, with adaptable spatial and temporal resolutions without limits.

API Integration

Easy integration via API into all photovoltaic plant management systems (monitoring, PMS, EMS...).
