NEXT Access uses satellite imagery and complementary weather models (NWP) to provide global coverage. Our platform integrates data from satellites such as Himawari, MSG or GOES, and data from weather models such as GFS (US) or Arome (EU), enabling us to tailor forecasts to the specific location of your photovoltaic plant, while guaranteeing the accuracy and reliability of our forecasts.

NEXT Access is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), guaranteeing permanent access worldwide. Our platform features an ergonomic interface available on the website, with the option of downloading data directly in several formats. What's more, NEXT Access can be easily integrated via API, thanks to the documentation available online, for direct access to your monitoring and EMS systems.

Deploying NEXT Access is quick and easy. By providing the coordinates of your location (latitude and longitude) and basic information on the configuration of your photovoltaic installation, you can access the forecasts within a few hours. Our site-by-site subscription model makes it easy to add new photovoltaic plants.

NEXT Advanced integrates real-time feedback of on-site measurements from monitoring systems

NEXT Advanced provides highly reliable estimates of electricity production from 5 minutes to 7 days in advance (week ahead). It combines real-time information from photovoltaic power plants and monitoring tools, such as actual irradiance or production, weather models and satellite data, while taking into account the configuration of your power plant.

The forecasting tool with enhanced short-term accuracy thanks to real-time forecasting

Meteorological models and satellite images are excellent sources of information for solar forecasting. However, their temporal and spatial resolutions are insufficient to detect very short-term cloud behavior on a site scale.

Measurements from the various supervisory sensors available on site provide invaluable indications of instantaneous system performance with far greater precision. NEXT Advanced is able to take them into account to constantly recalibrate forecasts on actual measurements in the event that other data sources have incorrectly anticipated short-term variability.

Real-time data retrieval is highly recommended to substantially improve forecasting performance over short-term horizons. This is done via secure pipelines and is included in the Next Advanced service. What's more, thanks to its API system, forecasts are available directly in your supervision tool (monitoring, PMS, EMS) to facilitate operational and strategic decision-making.
